NorthHost delivers your VPS with Nextcloud installed, configured and started. Files, calendars, contacts and shares on your own server in France, as many accounts as you want, root access kept, DDoS protection included and support 7 days a week. From €6.99/month.
Your Nextcloud VPS is delivered from our data center in France: four plans, from 50 to 230 GB of NVMe, from €6.99 a month.
Your files, your calendars and your shares are written in France, with a French host: that is the first line of your processing register, and it fills itself in. France sitting in the middle of the European network, syncing keeps up everywhere on the continent.
Order, payment, deployment: Nextcloud is installed, configured and started while the machine provisions in our data center in France. You receive the address of your instance and your credentials, and you work on it the same day.
Four plans, from €6.99 to €29.90 a month, with no commitment. You move up when your usage grows, pro rata, from your client area. Your documents are written in France, with a French host, and they do not move.
A consumer storage service is paid for per user, every month, and its terms of use give it the right to analyse what you put there. Nextcloud on your VPS has no notion of a seat: a family, an association of fifty members or a team of ten pay for the same server, and nobody reads your files.
You get what you expect from a cloud: synchronisation on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, share links with a password and an expiry date, automatic photo upload, calendars and contacts, and an office suite in the browser with Nextcloud Office.
At NorthHost, Nextcloud is installed, configured and started while the server is being deployed. You receive the address of your instance, you create your administrator account, you install the desktop and mobile apps. No web server or database to configure.
All that is left is to point a subdomain at your server and enable HTTPS, which the apps expect in order to connect properly. Support walks you through it if you need it.
For an association, a practice or a small business, the GDPR question often comes down to this: where is the data, and who has access to it? With a Nextcloud VPS at our data center in France, the answer fits on one line of the record of processing activities. End-to-end encryption is available on sensitive folders.
The disk is the main criterion: 50 GB for documents and a few thousand photos, 100 GB and above for a team or a photo library, up to 230 GB of NVMe. Two uses push up the memory and processor requirement: Nextcloud Office, comfortable from 8 GB, and preview generation when you upload a lot of images at once.
NVMe is made for responsiveness, not for archiving terabytes that are rarely opened: for that, Nextcloud can mount external storage in addition to its local disk.
Our Nextcloud VPS plans run on Intel Xeon Gold 6132 processors, DDR4 ECC memory and 100% NVMe storage, with DDoS protection included and support 7 days a week on all four plans, from €6.99 to €29.90 per month.
Backing up the photos of a whole family automatically, sharing the documents of an association without a paid account for every member, keeping the files of a practice on a server whose location you know, replacing a company Drive with a space that analyses nothing: Nextcloud does all of it, on your own server.
Northhost global network mitigates the largest DDoS attacks, providing 24/7 support and ensuring services stay online and fast.
A consumer storage service is paid for per user, every month, and its terms of use give it the right to analyse what you put there. On your VPS, the price does not depend on the number of accounts you create, and nobody reads your files.
For an association, a practice or a small business, it is also a simple answer to the GDPR question: the data sits on a server whose location you know, in France, with a French hosting provider.
Unlimited accounts: Family, team, clients: create as many accounts as you need, the price does not move.
Hosted in France: Your files are on your server in France, not spread across data centers abroad.
GDPR compliant: You know where the data is and who has access to it: the basis of a clean record of processing activities.
An ecosystem of apps: Calendar, contacts, notes, video calls, office suite: hundreds of applications to enable in one click.
Far more than an online disk: a complete suite, under your control.
Synchronisation: Your folders stay identical on every device. Edit at the office, find it again at home.
Secure shares: Links with a password and an expiry date, and file drop-off by people without an account.
Calendar and contacts: CalDAV and CardDAV: your calendars and address books sync with your phone and your mail client.
Office suite in the browser: With Nextcloud Office, edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations together, straight in the browser.
Video calls: Nextcloud Talk: audio and video calls, chat and screen sharing, without going through a third-party service.
Mobile apps: Automatic photo upload from iOS and Android, offline access to the files you mark.
Versions and trash: Every change is kept. Restore a previous version or a deleted file in one click.
Full root access: Nextcloud is added to your VPS, it does not replace it. Full SSH to install whatever you want alongside.
A Nextcloud VPS is a Linux VPS on Intel Xeon Gold 6132 with Nextcloud installed and started automatically on delivery. Files, calendars, contacts, shares and an office suite in the browser, on your own server in France, with as many accounts as you want. From €6.99/month.
Nextcloud Hosting on a Preinstalled VPS from €6.99: Nextcloud hosting from €6.99/month in France (Europe): your VPS ships with Nextcloud installed. Files stay yours, on NVMe, root access.
Hosted in France: Your files stay in France, in our data center. A simple answer to the GDPR question.
Choose your storage: The disk is what counts: 50 GB for personal use, 100 GB and above for a team. You move up a plan later without reinstalling anything.
Nextcloud installs itself: While the server is being deployed, Nextcloud is installed, configured and started. You open neither a terminal nor a configuration file.
Install the apps, invite whoever you want: You receive the address of your instance and your credentials. The Windows, macOS, iOS and Android clients connect in two minutes.
Nextcloud preinstalled: Installed and started during deployment. You log in, you upload your first files.
50 to 230 GB of NVMe: Opening a folder of a thousand photos or generating the previews does not keep you waiting: storage is NVMe on every plan.
Intel Xeon Gold 6132 & DDR4 ECC: Server processors and error-correcting memory, for a server that stays online for months without intervention.
DDoS protection included: Protection on every plan, at no extra cost and with no option to tick.
Support 7 days a week: A question about the hosting, an upgrade, a domain name to connect: we answer.
An Intel Xeon Gold 6132 Linux VPS on which Nextcloud is installed and started automatically during deployment. You receive the address of your instance and your credentials: the interface is ready, and you keep root access to the machine.
It is installed, configured and started before you receive your credentials. You create your administrator account, you install the desktop and mobile apps, and you start uploading your files. No command line is needed.
Start from the disk: 50 GB for documents and a few thousand photos, 100 GB and more for a team or a photo library. Nextcloud Office needs 8 GB and more to be comfortable, and generating previews uses the processor when you upload a lot of images at once.
The trash and the version history protect you against a handling mistake, not against the loss of the server itself. The VPS is not backed up automatically: plan an external copy of your important data, and we will advise you on the method if you need it.
Yes. Point a subdomain at the IP address of your VPS and enable HTTPS: that is what the desktop and mobile apps expect in order to connect properly. If you have never done it, open a ticket and we will guide you.
Not at the best price. NVMe is made for responsiveness: opening, searching, previewing. To archive several terabytes that are rarely opened, external storage costs less per gigabyte, and Nextcloud can mount it in addition to its local disk.
Yes. Nextcloud can transfer a complete account from one instance to another, including files, shares and calendars. For a whole instance, open a ticket before ordering: our support team will take care of the migration.
