Assetto Corsa Server Hosting

NorthHost hosts your Assetto Corsa server from €2.49/month, on Intel Xeon Gold at 3.70 GHz or Ryzen 9 7950X at 4.50 GHz. Unlimited modded cars and tracks, the Content Manager wrapper, scheduled sessions and championships, DDoS protection included and support 7 days a week.

Our Assetto Corsa plans

Two ranges, five plans each, from a session with friends to a league running several servers at once. Intel for the best price-to-resources ratio, Ryzen when every millisecond counts under braking.

Which plan for your team?

The right size depends mostly on your modded content and on how many servers you keep running.

Why run an Assetto Corsa dedicated server?

Because a league needs a track that stays open, including while the organiser is asleep.

Your track, open around the clock

A session hosted from inside the game ends the moment the host leaves, and that host home connection is carrying the positions of every car. The result is that at the first corner, contact is decided on the host machine before it reaches anyone else.

On a dedicated server your configuration stays online, your drivers practise whenever they want, lap times build up and the championship moves forward. Your modded tracks are uploaded once and served to everyone the same way.

AssettoCorsa in detail

Driving with friends : Official content, a dozen drivers, easy evening sessions with nothing to set up.

Regular races : Your first Workshop tracks and a grid that actually fills up.

A championship people follow : Full grid, a championship manager and lap times kept between rounds.

Practice and race kept apart : Two servers in parallel, one open for free practice, one kept for the official rounds.

Several servers : A team running several lobbies and a large library of modded content.

The track sets the grid size : A server cannot take more cars than the track has pit boxes. Some tracks stop at 18 slots, others go up to 32. On our side, slots are neither capped nor charged for.

Little memory, plenty of disk : A 24-driver session fits in under 2 GB. What really takes up room is the modded content: a good track runs from 500 MB to 2 GB, and a serious library passes 50 GB in no time.

Content Manager is ready to go : The wrapper HTTP port is open by default: your drivers see the scheduled sessions, the weather and the content download link straight from their launcher.

Competizione is a different game : Assetto Corsa Competizione runs on a different server, more demanding and capped at 30 cars. Open a ticket before ordering so we can settle on the right plan together.

Scheduled sessions : Practice, qualifying and race running back to back

Unlimited mods : Cars and tracks uploaded over FTP

Lap times : Standings and records kept between sessions

Ready in 3 min : Automatic deployment once you order

Frequently asked questions

How much RAM does an Assetto Corsa server need?

Far less than the market usually sells. The Assetto Corsa server is a light process: a 24-driver session fits in under 2 GB. Memory is not the limiting factor, the processor clock speed is, because it sets the rate at which car positions are sent out. Our plans still climb in RAM, because a server manager such as Assetto Server Manager, an sTracker lap time board and a database often run alongside the race server.

How many drivers can race at the same time?

The limit comes from the track, not from us: an Assetto Corsa server cannot take more cars than the track has pit boxes. Some official tracks stop at 18 slots, others go to 32 or more, and modded tracks state their pit box count in their own files. You set the slot count from the panel, at no extra cost on our side.

Can I install modded cars and tracks?

Yes, with no limit on the number. Upload the folders over FTP from the panel and the server loads them on the next start. This is the only thing that really eats disk space: a good modded track often weighs between 500 MB and 2 GB, and a serious library passes 50 GB quickly. That is why our plans start at 40 GB of NVMe rather than 10.

Does the server work with Content Manager?

Yes. The Content Manager wrapper is switched on from the panel, and your drivers then see the server description, the weather, the scheduled sessions and, above all, the download link for the modded content straight in their launcher. The HTTP port it needs is open by default on every plan, so there is no ticket to raise.

Can I run a championship over several rounds?

Yes. Install Assetto Server Manager or ACSM on your server and you can schedule the calendar, the practice, qualifying and race sessions, the championship standings and the penalties. That is where the Podium and Championnat plans earn their place, since the manager runs permanently alongside the race server.

Is Assetto Corsa Competizione the same thing?

No, they are two games and two different servers. Assetto Corsa Competizione runs on Unreal Engine and its server asks for noticeably more resources, with a 30-car ceiling and a rating system of its own. This page covers Assetto Corsa, the original. If you are after Competizione, open a ticket before ordering so we can settle on the right plan together.

How do I migrate my existing Assetto Corsa server?

Connect over FTP from the panel and upload your content and cfg folders along with your race results. Your entry lists, your session settings and your championship history all carry over. If you would rather not touch any of it, open a ticket: our support team does the move free of charge.

How long does it take to deploy my server?

Your Assetto Corsa server is delivered automatically in under 3 minutes once payment is confirmed. Your access details arrive by e-mail straight after.

How do I change plan if my needs grow?

You can move up to a larger Assetto Corsa plan at any time from your client area: the change is immediate and you only pay the pro-rata difference. A smaller plan takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

How do I access my server after ordering?

The delivery e-mail contains the IP address, the port, the FTP details and the link to the panel. That information also stays available in your client area.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are issued as credit on your client area balance, which can be used on any of our services. Write to support through a ticket to request one.
