Your Telegram bot, online 24/7

A Linux VPS to host your Telegram bots in Python or Node.js, with polling or a webhook. They reply day and night, without depending on your computer.

Choose your VPS

A bot uses very little: the Pulse VPS can host several.

Deploy your code

Upload your project with Git or SFTP and install your dependencies with pip or npm.

Let it run

A systemd service or PM2 restarts the bot automatically after an error or a reboot.

Online 24/7

Your bot replies at any hour, even when your computer is off.

Several bots per VPS

A Telegram bot uses very little: host several on the same machine.

Automatic restart

With systemd or PM2, the bot starts again on its own after an error or a server update.

HTTPS webhook

Point a domain name at the server and add a Let’s Encrypt certificate to receive messages by webhook.

A database alongside

SQLite, PostgreSQL or Redis on the same machine, to keep your users’ state.

Full root access

Python, Node.js, Go: install the language and libraries of your choice.

Polling or webhook?

With polling, the bot queries Telegram constantly: it is the simplest option and no domain name is needed. With a webhook, Telegram sends each message to your server over HTTPS: more responsive and more efficient, it requires a domain name and a certificate.

Why a VPS rather than free hosting

Free plans put your bot to sleep or shut it down after a period of inactivity. On a VPS, it runs continuously, you keep control of the machine and you can host a database alongside it.

Frequently asked questions

Is my bot installed for me?

No, you deploy your code yourself with root access. If you get stuck getting started, open a ticket and we will guide you.

How many bots can I host?

As many as the machine allows. A Telegram bot uses very little: a Pulse VPS runs several without difficulty.

Do I need a domain name?

Only for a webhook, for the HTTPS certificate that Telegram requires. With polling, no domain name is needed.

What about a Discord bot?

We have a dedicated plan for Discord bots, with a panel and no server administration: see the Discord Bots page.
